At Augeo Coaching, the leadership development process is tailored to your situation. Depending on your goals and needs, we may work together for 3 to 12 months.
Sessions are usually held every other week for one hour, in person or by phone. Unless otherwise arranged, all sessions are between the coachee and coach only.
Coaching engagements can be customized to include some or all of the following elements:
- Chemistry Check – Coach and leader meet to assess personal and professional compatibility.
- Kick-Off Meeting – Coach, leader and, where appropriate, leader’s organization meet and agree on the development objective, process, and length of engagement upfront.
- Personal & Job History Interview – Coach gathers pertinent information about the leader’s background, schooling, work career, and other relevant information.
- Assessment Phase – Pertinent data is collected through discussion, structured interviews, and validated assessment tools, as appropriate to the situation and agreed to by the leader.
- Assessment Feedback – Results from each assessment tool used is provided to the leader. Together, coach and leader synthesize the information and examine it in the context of the leader’s unique circumstance.
- Development Plan – Coach and leader identify what the leader wants to change, what obstacles might be in the way, and develop an action plan, with appropriate goals and measures, to effect the change.
- Stakeholder Meeting – Leader and coach meet with leader’s manager and, if appropriate, other organizational stakeholders to review the action plan.
- Individual Coaching Sessions – The focus is placed on individual coaching in the leader’s areas of professional strength and development needs, with particular emphasis on behaviors that will increase overall effectiveness.
- Wrap-Up Session – Coach, leader, and, where appropriate, leader’s organization meet to discuss status and how to maintain momentum.
